The past few years have seen high-profile hacks against large corporations, among them the likes of Target, Anthem, and Zomato, which ended up exposing millions of customers’ data. By 2017, a quarter of web applications were expected to have built in self-protection capabilities, up from fewer than 1% in 2012.

For those searching more effective defences, Immunio has developed a runtime application self-protection (RASP) technology that, when built on or added to an application’s runtime, is capable of controlling its execution as well as detecting and preventing security attacks in real time. The product acts as an agent, detecting vulnerable parts of code, answering requests and allowing the customer a real-time look at the current state of security. Delivered as a SaaS, it’s easy to use, deployed in under two minutes, supports multiple programming languages — and it’s effective.

White Star

We wanted an investor that takes a long-term view of things. The market we are in is emerging and transforming rapidly but it’s still very early on. White Star Capital understand these challenges and how we are going to overcome them.
